The Boxing Club - Second painting is up!

This is the second painting that I have done for yet another boxer, Junsik Eom‏. The inspiration for this piece comes from the fresh spring water and follows the concept that water can be transformed into ice, a strong and hard material which still retains the crystal purity of water. Don't know why but Junsik reminds me a lot of the fresh spring water in a winter morning. According to his manager Jungsik does indeed embody the strength, hardness and crystal purity of winter spring water.

The Secret Art Show 2012 - The Reveal

It is with my great pleasure that I am going to reveal my 'secret' painting on the same day of the Secret Art Show 2012 opening as the work has already been sold.

The painting is called Seeds of Love: sometimes the love that is visible to everybody is only a glimpse of the deep feeling hidden beneath the surface. Inspiration comes from some people that I got to know during my Korean journey who are and will always be an inspiration for me.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to the person who bought my work on the very first day!!!!

The Secret Art Show 2012

Once again, I am really happy to participate to
The Secret Art Show, exhibition organized by the MS Trust UK.

As usually, I will reveal which one is my painting only after this has been sold (although many of you might guess it anyway!!!).

Please have a look at the gallery by visiting the Secret Art Show webpage (link here). Lot of great artworks on display. This time I tried to create something very simple yet a stylish piece which I hope many will like.
Just to help out...the title of my work starts with the letter S.

Oh, and those of you who know of my adventures in Korea can easily guess where the inspiration for the piece came from  ^___^

Aura Series - Gem

Another one of my paintings inspired by people's energy and auras.
This is a portrait of a good friend of mine, Gem. She is an exquisitely sophisticated lady who reminds me somehow of a beautiful dark-coloured butterfly so I thought to add a butterfly feeling to the painting.

To Gem, with many thanks for always giving me a ride in your car when I am in need ㅜ.ㅜ
