My piece has now been sold, so I can reveal it. The inspiration for the concept came from a series of cards that I created to invite selected guests to the Gallery Golmok exhibition in Seoul. I would like to take this chance to say thanks to the person that bought my work.
The series of cards whose motives I used as inspiration for Dawn (Light) above.I had another work featured in the exhibition, Winter Sky. This was actually something that I painted a very long time ago as a secondary work for the previous MS Trust show. The piece was (unknowingly to me) put on sale and got immediately sold!!!
Many thanks to the person that bought this one also.
